Patient-First Guidance

We translate complex dental science into clear, friendly, and actionable explanations. Our goal is to help every reader understand their oral health with confidence and clarity, supported by compassionate, patient-first guidance.

The Expert Behind the Guidance

Dr. Michael Anderson is one of the rare U.S.-trained dental leaders with dual expertise in clinical dentistry and public health. A graduate of the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine, he went on to earn his Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he specialized in population-level oral-health outcomes and preventive care systems.

His advanced clinical training includes a General Practice Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, one of the most respected medical centers in the country. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Anderson has guided patient treatment standards, improved clinical workflows, and shaped national oral-health education programs through his research and advisory roles.

Blending scientific rigor with compassionate patient-centered philosophy, Dr. Anderson oversees all clinical content at Dental Health Time. He ensures that every article aligns with ADA clinical guidelines, reflects the latest evidence-based research, and empowers readers to make informed decisions about their oral health. As a former faculty member in Harvard’s Department of Restorative Dentistry, he is also dedicated to mentoring new clinicians and advancing modern dental practices.

His scholarly work has been published in both the Journal of Public Health Dentistry and JADA, reinforcing his commitment to elevating oral-health literacy for patients and professionals alike.

“My philosophy is simple: Clear, evidence-based dental education should be accessible to everyone.”

— Dr. Michael Anderson, DDS, MPH

The Team Behind the Research

At Dental Health Time, scientific accuracy is never the work of one voice. Our advisory content is strengthened by a collaborative team of board-certified dental specialists — Dr. Emily Carter (Orthodontist), Dr. Jason Miller (Periodontist), Dr. Sarah Thompson (Endodontist), and Dr. Maria Hernandez (Pediatric Dentist). Together, they bring a unified approach to reviewing clinical literature, analyzing new studies, and confirming that each topic reflects the gold standard of modern dentistry.

Each specialist contributes a unique lens:
Orthodontic biomechanics, periodontal biology, endodontic microsurgery, and pediatric oral development. Their combined expertise ensures that every recommendation is supported by verified scientific evidence rather than opinion or outdated practice.

Before any article is published, they evaluate diagnostic accuracy, treatment relevance, long-term patient outcomes, and ADA-aligned clinical protocols. This multi-perspective review process results in content that is not only medically correct, but genuinely useful to patients, families, and dental professionals seeking clarity.

Together, these four experts uphold our mission:
To make complex dental science understandable, reliable, and rooted in real research.
